Baja Tile was formed in 1984 as a partnership between Mario Villarreal and Don Rapp. Mr. Villareal, who serves as President of Baja Tile Inc. has been active in the ceramic industry since 1971 and currently also operates Baja Tile S.A, in Tijuana, Mexico. Don Rapp, who serves as Vice President, has been in the tile industry since 1971 also. Baja Tile opened with Gary and Don Rapp as the first two employees. Gary currently serves Baja Tile as General Manager.

The goal of Baja Tile has been to use our buying expertise to find the best possible products and offer them to our customers at the lowest possible prices. Baja Tile currently sells and ships tile throughout the Western United States. We maintain an inventory of over two million dollars worth of tile in our Ontario warehouse. The Ontario location was chosen because of its freeway close location with easy access to all Southern California customers.

In 2004, our Las Vegas branch was opened with staggering success, which has continued to gain momentum.  A year after opening, the branch was moved into its permanent location on Sunset Rd in order to accommodate the needs of our customers.

Our staff at both our Ontario and Las Vegas branches offers not only great prices, but also expert advice on product and installation.
